Valentines Day: Surprise After Surpise

This was my first Valentines Day with an actual Valentine to spend it with. There are a lot of pictures to look at, but I thought so many things were cute that I couldn't help but take so many.
My day started with waking up early to get everything ready to Chad's surprises......But Chad beat me to it. As I'm at my kitchen table, getting the last bit packed up, I see my name shining into the living room. I open the door and see this on my front window.....
And this on my bedroom window.....
This is something so simple that Chad did, but made me so happy; I smile every time I look at it :) After being surprised, I headed over to Chad's apartment. I made him a lunch (chicken, potato's, and veggies), since Monday's are his long days, and then started to heart attack his room.
All the hearts had sayings of some kind on them, ones that most people say, and ones that Chad and I say to each other.
Since Chad went to Portugal on his mission, I thought it'd be appropriate to have a few hearts in Portuguese...
And in my language....
They can all be interpreted by the language we both speak......
After sticking all the hearts up, I left a little red box for him...
The box was full of hand made, paper fortune cookies and each one had a reason why I love Chad.
I got this idea from my amazing cousin, Steph Tobler, and I have to say I loved doing it. I thought they were so cute, but personal; I got to actually give reasons to the most wonderful man I've ever been with why I love him so much!
Now that the surprises were all set up, I just had to wait until that night for when Chad got out of class. Once that rolled around, he came and picked me up to go to dinner at my favorite restaurant, Olive Garden! He must have really wanted to make me happy because we waited an hour and fifteen minutes to eat, but the food was worth the wait.
After eating, in the car Chad gave me chocolates, a flower plant (which has beautiful, pink blooming flowers now), and a card he made.
This card he made makes me smile and laugh so much that I have to share it......
So Cute!!!!!! I love it!
Now, there was one more surprise for Chad. Our agreement was that he had dinner, but I had dessert.....So I went to DQ and picked up his favorite dessert that he mentions every time we go there.......Ice Cream Cake!
Needless to say, as full as Chad was he couldn't not have a slice.
Well, the rest of the night was us just being together, and that's all I could have asked for. I'm the luckiest girl to have been able to spend this day with Chad, and I'm even more lucky that I get to spend every day with him. This Valentines Day was one I'll never forget.

Computer is back!

Last week I was watching a show on my computer, where all of a sudden it went black and shut down. To my fear, I thought my hard drive crashed and I would lose everything on my computer (mainly i was scared to lose my pictures). I went to the computer help desk here on campus, and to my relief, all I needed was a new charger - somehow my charger completely lost any stable charge. I called my parents and told them the happy news! They surprised me by ending up paying for my new charger - this is something I appreciate very much because $30 is a lot right now. Now, a week later, I have my charger and my computer is up a running. Time for some new posts!

Moose Sighting In Idaho!!!

Melvin the Moose!
At noon today, my roommate, Becca Robison, came running into the apartment telling us that she saw a moose at the nature park when she was feeding the ducks. My other roommate, Britteny Hewson, and I quickly got ready and jumped in the car to see this wonderful creature.
I've always wanted to see a moose - it's on my bucket list - and I never thought I'd see one in Rexburg, Idaho of all places. Melvin is huge, I knew moose were big but  being so close (about 30-50 feet away) I couldn't believe I was actually seeing the magnificent creature. He was wonderful and everything I would imagin a moose to be like.

With all the excitment of running out of the car to see Melvin, I didn't notice this sign and ran into the corner. Needless to say,  Britteny and I were on the floor laughing. I found out lter that I cut my head and got a slight head ache. But seeing my first moose every was worth recieving this war wound. Thank you Becca for coming back and letting me be able to have this memory.
